We took the Alaska Railroad from Anchorage to Talkeetna, Alaska.  Talkeetna is about 125 miles north of Anchorage on the highway between Anchorage and Fairbanks.    Talkeetna is a stop off point for people traveling to Denali National Park, more particularly to Mt. McKinley.  At 23,320 feet about sea level, this is the tallest mountain in North America.  It was about a three hour trip.

A special thanks goes out to my brother Kevin Anthony from Dallas, Texas who took these great pictures and my daughter Jeni Chubick who took the pictures of the Northern Lights.
